I offer flexible hourly packages that bring the artistry of live illustration straight to your event. Choose from half-day or full-day options and let your guests watch their portraits come to life in real time.
Each guest receives a hand-drawn illustration to take home on the day. It’s an interactive experience that gets people smiling, chatting, and remembering your event long after it’s over.

How it works
You can pay per guest so that every person, or a chosen amount, will receive an illustration either on the day or in post.
Designed for events of 30–150 guests, with tiered pricing that offers lower per-person rates for larger guest counts.
Up to 7 hours of live illustration plus studio time.
Guests’ photos are taken on the day, and we illustrate from those, so your guests can enjoy the event and collect from our station later in the day
One or two illustrators attend the day.
For larger guest lists we suggest choosing the two illustrators option to optimise guest portraits completed live.
Any illustrations not completed on the day are finished in-studio and posted to a single address in bulk.
Tiered pricing starts at £13.99pp for one illustrator completing 30-50 guests. Higher guest counts subject to reductions per person.

Arty at Heart Illustrations offers joint packages in collaboration with the incredibly talented Katie (Katie Bowden Art), who runs her own live illustration and canvas painting brand. We are not only colleagues but also best friends! I couldn’t think of a better way to spend our time painting your day together, and that shines through in our teamwork and dedication we bring to our bookings.
If you're interested in heirloom canvas paintings, I highly recommend taking a look at her work. Katie is one of the few artists in the UK to offer this unique and beautiful service.
If I can’t attend your date, Katie would be able to take your request if she is available. Or for both packages and pay-per-guest options, she can join as a second illustrator to help capture even more of your special moments. Our styles complement each other well, giving more of your guests the chance to be illustrated.

Art is at the core of everything I do. I focus on high-quality materials, thoughtful detail, and a personalised experience for every client and guest.
My style is fashion-inspired and stylised, with a strong emphasis on capturing the unique details of each guest’s outfit and personality. It’s not just a sketch, it’s a snapshot of your guests essence.

This depends on your package and event flow, but I always balance efficiency with quality. On average, I create 6 high quality portraits per hour.
The natural flow of a day, interactions and being part of the live illustration moment will always change these.
There are options to create family headshots (head and shoulders portraits) to maximise guest totals.

While I aim to include as many guests as possible, I may not be able to paint every guest solo! That's why we have the option for an additional illustrator, so we can cover a larger guest list as a duo.
For larger celebrations, portraits are offered either to VIP guests or on a first-come, first-served basis.

Just a few essentials:
A table and chair (large enough to display my work as I paint i.e 2m+)
A shaded or covered area if I’m positioned outdoors
The name of a wedding coordinator or designated contact to liaise with on arrival
Vendor meal for 5-7 hour packages
Pre discussed set up instructions i.e room/area where my table is.
My set up is minimalistic, I have a table top stand for my illustrations and of course my lovely art materials.

Absolutely. When booking the Full Day guest illustration package, you’ll receive a custom couple’s portrait in my signature live illustration style, carefully painted in-studio and posted to you after the event as a beautiful keepsake.
Alternatively, I can designate an extra hour live so that you can have your portrait on the day from a photo in your chosen spot at the venue.
Background details are simplistic and stylised, with optional upgrades to my detailed, framed portraits available!

The second artist, Katie, will illustrate in tandem with me covering a larger guest list by essentially doubling our illustration capacity!
Katie's style aligns well with the artistry and detail that we aim to offer here, each of her illustrations capture your guests unique personalities and outfits to create a lasting memory.

Our joint packages include the option for Katie to paint your love story using acrylics on canvas. I would illustrate your guests in my signature watercolour style while she captures you as the wedding couple with a thoughtfully created canvas for you to treasure.
